While sessions of the 2016 Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) just wrapped up, we are already thinking about next summer’s program. For the first time ever, we are opening an application process for Lead Facilitators for UIFI, the NIC’s premier leadership program.
Time and again, talented professionals and volunteers have asked us, “How do I become a Lead Facilitator?” We want to provide a place where seasoned facilitators can express their interest and abilities.
The Role of a Lead Facilitator
Lead Facilitators play a critical part in making UIFI a reality. They are responsible for on-site session management, training and leading a group of up to 16 small-group facilitators, and guiding the program’s central themes by delivering five days of general session content. For complete details about what is expected of a Lead Facilitator, see the UIFI 2017 Lead Facilitator Agreement.
Application & In-Person Training
Being a UIFI Lead Facilitator is a unique and selective opportunity. We are also excited to announce that those chosen will receive training during a pre-conference gathering at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors. The training will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. through Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Noon in Boston.
Applications are due Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. PCT. Apply to be a 2017 UIFI Lead Facilitator here.
